Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The room was decent but had some issues. The service surprised me with its attentiveness and care, especially for my elderly relative. The location was excellent, right in the heart of town, but the dining experience fell short on variety. Overall good value for money.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were excellent - very clean, super comfy beds, plenty of space, and a luxurious, huge bath that was perfect for unwinding. However, the rooms were showing signs of wear, and there was a lot of noise from flushing toilets in our room and others. The service was a bit inconsistent - while some staff were extremely helpful and caring, there was a blonde lady at the desk who seemed less than accommodating. The location was lovely, near Snowdonia National Park, quiet overall, and ideal for exploring the area, but it could get noisy at times due to the town's hustle and bustle. The dining experience was good overall, with nice options to start the day and well-cooked meals, though it could be better considering the circumstances. Unfortunately, the facilities were very basic, and there were some issues with noise and furniture in the rooms.
The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Bala, making it easy to reach shops and other attractions. The rooms are spacious, though some finishing touches are needed in the bathroom. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, exceeding expectations for the price paid. The dining experience offers a great selection for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian guests, with cheerful service despite some reminders about a new chef. The location is ideal for exploring Bala and the surroundings, though some minor improvements in room storage would enhance the experience.
